The relatively young watchmaking brand Hysek (founded in 1997) presents a new version of its Verdict Double Tourbillon model which boasts a sapphire dial with an amazing blue reflections. The exquisite novelty comes with a double tourbillon, a double micro-rotor, as well as with a skeletonized movement which is visible through the dial.
Although nothing is new on this model, I would like to emphasize that achieving a double tourbillon is never an easy path.
The openworked dial of the latest timepiece from Hysek is encrusted with blue shaded sapphire. The hands are made from 18-karat rose gold and filled with lume for better readability in low light conditions. The dial comprises a double tourbillon complication at the 6 o’clock position. A date window is situated at the 1 o’clock position and it is displayed in an analog format. A double micro-rotor is located at the 10 o’clock position and its purpose is to increase the winding power of the mechanism. In order to improve efficiency, the manufacturer used denser metals to increase the rotations of the micro rotors.
The new Hysek’s watch offers a complete view on the movement, both on the front dial side and through the case back. On the dial side, the weight appears in 22-karat gold, whereas on the case back, it is made from platinum.
The watch is powered with the Hysek Calibre HW06 which is entirely conceived and assembled by the master watchmakers of Manufacture Hysek. The automatic winding movement offers 45 hours of autonomy when fully wound and ticks at a rapid pace of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The impeccable mechanism is built on 44 jewels and consists of 331 individual parts. Furthermore, the movement is encrusted with sought-after handmade finishings, such as a Rose des Vents pattern on the movement plate.
The watch’s case is made from 18-karat rose gold and measures 46mm in diameter and 13mm in thickness. The elegant case features satin-brushed and polished finish and it is shielded with sapphire crystals. The case construction offers water resistance of up to 30 meters (about 100 feet).
Hysek attached its new Verdict Double Tourbillon model to a brown alligator leather strap which is secured to the wrist with a Hysek folding buckle made from 18-karat rose gold.
The novelty is issued in the ultra limited quantity of only 8 pieces. For more information visit Hysek official website.
