The renowned Swiss watchmaker dedicated its latest King Power limited edition watch to the legendary German FC Bayern München club. Limited to 200 pieces, this titanium chronograph is another high-end creation from the Hublot’s most famous collection that perfectly represents some of the greatest names from the world of sport.

Since 2006, Hublot has been greatly investing in the top-class football, signing log-term partnerships with several giants, such as Manchester United (read the review of the Hublot King Power Red Devil Chronograph Watch), Bayern Munich and Ajax Amsterdam. Recently, the Swiss watchmaker has also signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the legendary Italian club, Juventus Turin. Furthermore, Hublot serves as the Official Timekeeper and the Official Watch of the FIFA World Cup™.

As the result of the brand’s partnership with the FC Bayern München, Hublot created the great King Power Chronograph that nicely represents the spirit of the most famous German club. It was unveiled in the presence of the Hublot’s chairman, Jean-Claude Biver, FC Bayern’s executive board member, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, and the club’s players, Ribéry, Boateng, van Buyten, Luiz Gustavo, Can and others.

This great sport timepiece comes with a black skeleton dial marked with a distinctive 45-minute display in the club’s red and blue colors. Along with the transferred Bayern Munich logo at the 3 o’clock position, these colors perfectly match the spirit of the King Power collection, while the 45-minute display is made to track the half-time of the football game.

The dial also features a small second sub-dial at the 9 o’clock position, a date window at the 4 o’clock position, brushed ruthenium-coated indexes covered with white SuperLuminova, as well as brushed black nickel-coated hands covered with red SuperLuminova.

The over-sized case of the King Power has the diameter of 48 mm. It is crafted in titanium which is decorated with vertical satin finishes. A vertically brushed titanium bezel is over-molded with black rubber and secured with 6 H-shaped relief black PVD titanium screws. Bezel lugs are crafted in black composite resin, while a brushed titanium crown features a black rubber insert. Finally, push-pieces are made of black PVD titanium over-molded with black and red rubber. All these elements perfectly match an adjustable black rubber strap with a red decoration.

The sapphire crystal case-back reveals a HUB4245 self-winding skeleton chronograph movement. It oscillates at the frequency of 28,600 vibrations per hour (4 hz) and provides the power-reserve of 42 hours. Hublot King Power FC Bayern München Chronograph is water-resistant up to 100 meters (330 feet). If you are a collector of rare timepieces, or a passionate fan of the German club, hurry up, because these watches will most definitely be out of stock very soon.
