In tribute to the magical Greek island, the renowned Swiss watchmaker created two new limited editions from its most elegant, Classic Fusion Collection. New Mykonos series will certainly repeat the great success of the last year’s model from the same line which Hublot produced in collaboration with its Greek partner Flamme Hellas and Gofas. It brings us sporty features, a refined design, marked with powerful blue color and finally, a powerful touch of luxury. The 18 karat King Gold version is limited to just 10 pieces, while the second version, executed in gold and titanium, comes in the series of 25 pieces.

Hublot Mykonos 2013 Classic Fusion Chronograph Watch Titanium Gold
Hublot Mykonos 2013 Classic Fusion Chronograph nicely depicts this archetypal Greek island and its striking blue sea, so clear to reveal a golden sandy surface as it glitters under the Mykonos sun. Another distinctive feature is a little windmill (the symbol of Mykonos) which is inscribed inside the small seconds sub-dial at the 3 o’clock position. At the 9 o’clock position, there is a 30-minute counter, while a little date window takes the 6 o’clock position. Applied markers, counters, as well as faceted, diamond-polished and skeleton hands are made of gold.

A robust, 45 mm case presents a wonderful combination of different finishes. It is made either of titanium or 18 karat King Gold (special red gold mixed with 5 percent of platinum). In both cases, it is highly polished, featuring satin-finished end-pieces. It incorporates a satin-finished, 18 karat King Gold bezel, fixed with 6 H-shaped titanium screws. A nicely decorated crown with Hublot logo, as well as two push-buttons come in diamond polished king gold.
Finally, the edge of the case-back is made of satin-finished titanium, while the central part is transparent and covered with anti-reflective sapphire crystal that opens the view on inner-parts of the watch. It is a HUB 1143 self-winding chronograph mechanism, built of 280 parts, including 59 jewels and satin-finished, beveled and polished bridges. This high-quality movement provides around 42 hours of power-reserve.
The Mykonos 2013 Classic Fusion Chronograph has the water-resistance of up to 50 meters and it comes with an elegant navy blue alligator strap stitched onto black rubber for a superb comfort.
