Hublot King Power UEFA Euro 2012 Ukraine Watch
As the brand that has been continuously investing in football since 2006, being the Official Watch of the FIFA World Cup and the Official Timekeeper for the giants, such as Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Ajax Amsterdam, Hublot knew perfectly how to design special timepieces for the great event. Representing refined sport elegance and masculinity, these 48 mm chronographs are distinctive by 45-minute chronograph counters at the 9 o’clock position, indicating the half-time of a football match. Besides, each watch features the official UEFA logo on its sapphire crystal case-back, framed by a graphic representation of a football, inspired by the official Euro 2012™ logo.
A black ceramic bezel with circular satin finish and black rubber molding is screwed with 6 H-shaped black PVD titanium screws. A crown is either made of satin-finished 18 karat King Gold for Ukraine or satin-finished titanium, both with black rubber inserts. Push-pieces also emphasize national colors, as well as decorations on adjustable black rubber straps.
An open-worked dial is covered with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, either with blue (Ukraine) or red (Poland) minute track transfer. In the first case, its satin-finished indexes and hands are coated with 5N gold. Indexes are covered with yellow SuperLuminova, while hands illuminate blue, together indicating the Ukrainian flag. For Poland, satin-finished indexes and hands are coated with ruthenium and covered with white and red SuperLuminova.
The King Power UEFA Euro 2012™ Chronograph is powered with a HUB4245 skeleton chronograph self-winding movement, made of 249 components. Its oscillating weight features a black galvanic coating, with tungsten carbide heavy metal segment. This mechanism oscillates at the frequency of 4 Hz and provides a power-reserve of 42 hours.
