Fossil Presents Heather Watches for Ladies

A fashion giant and a watch manufacturer Fossil has launched a brand new collection of sophisticated timekeepers intended for women. These watches feature round cases that are combined with extremely thin wristlets, which creates a nice eye-catching style that is further enhanced by using two rings of relief decorations on the bezels. As it is customary for the timekeepers of the U.S. brand, they are predominantly appearance-oriented, while the horological aspect is less important. Therefore all of the timepieces from the new collection (just like the entire range of the manufacturer) have quartz movements. Not so impressive watchmaking traits are especially visible in the new Heather series, since these watches do not have any additional functions apart from date displays. However, the collection does offer very beautiful products that are available at rather low prices, with the most expensive models being retailed for $135.

Heather collection by Fossil is completely made from timekeepers with round shaped cases. There are two case sizes that are featured throughout the heather range. The smaller ones are made with the diameters of 26 mm, while the bigger ones have quite large dimensions (for ladies’ timekeepers) and are 40 mm wide. The larger models look more interesting; especially because of the unusual combination of a larger case and a very thin bracelet. These products have attachments that are 11 mm wide, while the small watches from the heather series are made with bracelets that are just 9 mm wide.

Apart from these ultra-narrow wristlets, timepieces from the new range have another interesting trait, the decorations on the bezel. Those are two rings of relief ornaments which consist of strings of pyramid shaped elements that create a really nice effect. The same kind of ornaments is used around the crown. Other aesthetical enhancements are the curvatures on the sides of the cases.

Each of the products from the new series is made with a steel case, which are some instances executed in rose gold or smoky gray colors. Available dial colors are rose gold, silver, smoky gray and dark brown. The faces of these watches have three hands, four Arabic numerals, hour and minute markers, and date apertures at the four o’clock positions. In accordance with the choice of creating products that are as affordable as possible, the manufacturer opted for the less quality mineral glasses.

There is also quite a variety of possible choices for the styles of the narrow wristlets that are paired up with the products from the collection. They can be steel bracelets (in silver, rose gold or gray color), or leather (gray, dark brown or sand color). Each of the timepieces is water proof to 50 meters, while their prices range from $95 to $135.

    Good Evening,
I have a Fossil F2 stainless steel- ES 9209 120104 inscribed on the back, with a genuine leather snake skin strap and crystal cut around the sides of the face of the watch that was left to me. Do you know anything about the details of this watch. Not sure what ES 9209 120104 means. Can you HELP ME!! I would greatly appreciate any information.

    Sincerely,

    Toni Dorsey
