The latest addition to the Corum’s Admiral’s Cup collection boasts a very useful world-time complication for businessmen who travel constantly and generally for all long distance travelers.

Corum Admiral’s Cup Legend 47 Worldtimer Watch – all-titanium version
Corum Admiral’s Cup Legend 47 Worldtimer is housed in a recognizable twelve-sided case and features the colorful nautical pennants which adorn the dial and offer a powerful and modern look which is a signature of the nautically inspired range.
This year’s release of the Admiral’s Cup is housed in a colossal case measuring 47mm in diameter and 17.20mm in thickness. The bold and masculine case incorporates a twelve-sided bezel and it is available in two variants – a titanium case with a matte black dial, and a two-tone titanium and rose gold case with a smoky sapphire dial. The latter offers a glimpse of the inner beauty of the beating heart of the watch.
The new Admiral’s Cup Legend 47 Worldtimer features large luminescent Dauphine hands, a skeleton second hand, and the famed nautical pennants which illustrate the historical ties between Swiss watch making brand and sailing. Depending on the model, the openworked Dauphine hands are made either of rhodium-plated or rose-gold-toned brass.
The watch is powered with the caliber CO637 automatically-winding movement with bridges designed to echo the 12-sided shape typical of Admiral’s Cup timepieces. The 31 jewels movement oscillates at the rapid frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour (4 Hz) and it can store enough energy to keep the watch ticking for approximately 48 hours.
The watch’s world-time function can be set via the pusher at the 2 o’clock position by turning the push-piece to select the time zone (either the GMT time or the world city) and by pressing the pusher to make the hour hand jump to the selected zone.
The back view offers a very interesting design feature – a smoked sapphire crystal engraved with the names of cities in 24 different time zones and their abbreviations.
Corum Admiral’s Cup Legend 47 Worldtimer is mounted on a black vulcanized rubber strap, ending with a tri-fold clasp which adds the finishing touch to the technical and distinguished elegance of the watch. The water resistance is assured down to 100 meters (about 330 feet).
