Corum and its new partner Rebecca de Alba worked together to conceive an ultra-limited edition of 30 pieces of the Admiral’s Cup Legend 38 in order to support the work of the Rebecca de Alba Foundation. In 2008, the Mexican star founded the foundation which aim is to support the most vulnerable groups, especially children and youth suffering from cancer. Since 2013, Rebecca is Corum’s ambassador.
The Admiral’s Cup Legend 38 Special Edition Rebecca de Alba Foundation features a precious mother-of-pearl dial encrusted with nine hour-markers set with diamonds weighing approximately 0.10 carats. Its beautiful dial also comprises the numbers 30 and 60 appearing as appliques at the 6 and 12 o’clock positions, as well as three small stars which are located at the 3 o’clock position. These stars are the symbol of the Rebecca de Alba Foundation. Further, the case back is marked and signed by Rebecca de Alba and the foundation logo.
This Special Edition timepiece runs on the caliber C0082 mechanical movement which is able to store enough power to keep the watch ticking at least 42 hours. The impeccable mechanism provides the usual functions of hours and minutes, as well as a date function. A date aperture is placed at the 3 o’clock position and it is nicely surrounded with three gorgeous stars.
