The latest addition to the Concord family of watches took inspiration from the underground techno-music. From now, this newcomer will be your perfect timekeeping companion during night outs!
The new model named C2 Teknologic (ref. 0320229) is housed in a modern stainless steel case coated with a gray PVD. The round case measures 43mm in diameter and 12.75mm in thickness and incorporates an etched stainless steel bezel, gray PVD-treated steel screw-down crown embossed with C logo and two gray PVD-treated steel pushers.
The new member of the C2 Y-13 LIMITED DESIGN EDITIONS features a silver-toned multi-level dial which glows with electric green LED look-a-like superluminova detail, vertical Côtes de Geneve and there is also the name of the brand which is inscribed in the dial’s center. A rhodium-plated rotating small seconds disk is placed at the 3 o’clock position, while two chronograph counters for measuring time up to 12 hours and 30 minutes are situated at 6 and 9 o’clock positions. The dauphine-styled hour and minute hands are asymmetrically hollowed out, and partly filled with superluminova. The dial also comprises a small black-on-white date window which is located at the 6 o’clock position.
The case is protected with 2mm thick sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment. The case back is secured with 6 screws and it is engraved with “Audace-Savoir-Faire Avant-Garde” and “C2” logo. The case is constructed to resist water pressure of up to 100 meters (about 330 feet).
The beating heart of the new Concord watch is ETA Caliber 2894-2 mechanical movement that offers no less than 42 hours of power reserve when fully charged. The self-winding mechanism is built on 37 jewels and beats at the rapid frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
This contemporary men’s timepiece is attached to a comfortable platinum metallic gray alligator leather strap with green stitching. The Swiss luxury watchmaker secured the watch to the wearer’s wrist with a gray PVD-treated stainless steel deployment clasp with embossed Concord cover to prevent its losing in nightclubs.
