To celebrate Porsche’s return to Le Mans, Chopard presents a special Porsche 919 limited edition, a watch dedicated to the new Porsche 919 Hybrid automobile. This year, Chopard has been declared the Official Timing Partner of Porsche Motorsport, thus becoming a single watchmaking company to accompany the return of Porsche Motorsport at the World Endurance Championship.

Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition Watch Profile
Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 Edition Watch (ref. 168535-3002) is COSC chronometer-certified flyback chronograph which reflects the design codes of the racing car, such as the stripes on the dial that evoke the car’s rear diffuser and the steering wheel pattern on the rubber-coated screw-down crown.
The new Chopard is housed in a generously sized stainless steel case with the diameter of 45mm and the thickness of 15.18mm. Its masculine case is shielded with glare-proofed sapphire crystal and it incorporates a sturdy steel bezel with a tachometric scale secured by eight PVD blackened steel screws.
Underneath the glare-proofed sapphire glass lies an opaline silver-toned dial with red inner bezel ring transfers, metallic black hour and minute hands and hour markers which are coated with Superluminova luminescent coating, and an arrowhead red sweep-seconds hand. Its sporty dial also comprises a white-on-red 919 logo inside the counter at the 9 o’clock position which is identical to the number of the Porsche racing cars.

The Chopard Superfast Chrono Porsche 919 edition is constructed to resist water pressure of up to 100 meters (about 330 feet). The watch is teamed with a black rubber strap with a slick tyre-tread motif, ending with a polished steel folding clasp.
