For the occasion of its 150th anniversary, Chopard has created an incredible Haute Joaillerie collection of 150 luxury jewelry works that can be admired in Chopard’s pop-up boutique in the shopping center Harrods in London.

Chopard Animal World Collection at Harrods White Strap Watch
An exceptional collection of Animal World consists of figures of reptiles, birds and exotic animals, performed by Co-President and Artistic Director, Caroline Scheufele, together with respected Haute Joaillerie designers.
Interestingly, Caroline Scheufele advised specialized encyclopedias and even consulted the Chinese calendar to come up with a collection of unique animal-themed pieces which are at the same time original and aesthetically pleasing.
The collection includes a luxury watch-owl with gray eyes – dials surrounded by twinkling diamonds, an amazing regal tiger necklace, the necklace with hummingbird of rose sapphires and diamonds framed by the floral ornament, the necklace with tropical fish splashing in the sea of the moon-stone, the exquisite ring in the form of a polar bear, etc.

The triumph of jewelry making is the Clownfish plastron necklace alone that glisten like a Byzantine mosaic. The team specialized in the manufacture of Haute Joaillerie products (designers, jewellers, sculptors, founders, stone setters, lapidarists, and polishers) worked together for 750 hours to create this exceptional necklace which evokes the ocean depths. Four clownfishes in ocean colors swim through the center of the necklace. No less than 2,160 stones of all kinds, such as apatites, aquamarines, chalcedonies, diamonds, moonstones, Paraiba tourmalines, quartz, sapphires and topazes, were used for the creation of this piece of jewelry.
This unique animal-themed collection will be exhibited in Harrods London until February 18.
