The China’s leading watch manufacturer, Beijing Watch, unveils their latest watch named “Tai Chi II”. The new model is tooled with TB04 movement, the 1st 3D tourbillon movement in China which is independently developed and produced by the Beijing Watch Factory (BWAF).
This outstanding 3D tourbillon rotates on two axes. Its dial exudes style and elegance. The gorgeous dial of the new Tai Chi II Double 90° Tourbillon Watch comprises dual zone, date and power reserve indication. The central hour and minute hands count time on the off-center main dial which is placed on the right side of the dial. It incorporates the company’s logo and inscription “Made in China”. Arabic numerals are set at the quarter hour.
A date window is located between 6 and 7 o’clock position, while a 12-hour indicator is displayed between 11 and 12 o’clock position. A double tourbillon is set at the 9 o’clock position, and above it there is a transparent cover that allows seeing its course. A power reserve indicator is shown at the 1 o’clock position.
Furthermore, the indicator of lunar phases with beautiful enamel coating is situated on the back cover of the watch. The new Beijing Tai Chi II Double 90 ° Tourbillon watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist with an elegant leather strap in dark brown color. The latest model from the Chinese luxury watch company is available through the official representatives of Beijing Watch.
The Chinese manufacturer is specialized in the production of luxury mechanical watches and in the manufacturing of mechanical movements. The Beijing Watch Factory was founded in 1958 at Changping, Beijing, and today, it represents a major horology company in mainland China.
Eighteen years ago, BWAF independently developed its own tourbillon watches. In 2004, the luxury watchmaker from the Chinese capital presented a sold limited edition rose gold tourbillon watch, and became the first Chinese brand to offer limited edition luxury timepieces that feature both precious metals and highly complicated tourbillon movements. One year later, the Beijing tourbillon unveiled the Oriental Tourbillon. Today, Beijing watch company independently produces tourbillons, double tourbillons, Minute repeater tourbillons, and double 90° tourbillons.
During the last couple of years, the luxury Chinese manufacturer has showcased several quite interesting models at the International Watch Fair in Basel, Switzerland.
