The prestigious Swiss watchmaker will organize a unique auction of nine one-of-a-kind aluminum wall clocks to help Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS in its straggle to provide essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses. Each representing one of the best season’s musicals, these valuable clocks are displayed during the 66th Annual Tony Awards, with Audemars Piguet sponsoring Red Carpet and the backstage luxury Green Room experience.
For the fourth consecutive year, Audemars Piguet participated at the renowned event as the presenting sponsor of the Tony Awards Red Carpet. Broadway stars and Tony Award nominee Elizabeth Davis of Once, Max von Essen currently starring in the Broadway revival of Evita and Constantine Maroulis of Rock of Ages showed up on the red carpet wearing the brand’s high-end timepieces.

Elizabeth Davis
With her wonderful dress, Ms. Davis paired the elegant rose gold Selfwinding Royal Oak watch set with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds; Mr. von Essen wore the stainless steel Selfwinding Royal Oak, while Mr. Maroulis’s choice was a rose gold Royal Oak Chronograph with matching Royal Oak cufflinks.

Many of celebrity guests took photos in front of displayed wall clocks that will be offered at the online auction, from June 13 to 26. The auction will be organized on the leading charity auction site www.charitybuzz.com.

The eight one-of-a-kind aluminum wall clocks are decorated by the nominees for Best Musical Revival (Evita, Follies, Jesus Christ Superstar, Leap of Faith, Newsies, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Once, and The Gershwins’ Porgy & Bess), each representing one of this season’s musicals. The last piece from Audemars Piguet special edition is signed by nominated actors who attended last month’s Meet the Nominees reception.
