A private Swiss watchmaker, ArtyA, headed by Yvan Arpa, is well known for its outrageously brave and different watch designs that can be compared to handful of products that are present on the market. Once again, Yvan Arpa presents an extremely strange timekeeper. In the preparation for the upcoming Halloween, ArtyA is launching a unique timepiece with a dial that features silver bullets and liquid that appears to be blood. If you are an aficionado of timepieces with strange and bold appearances, as well as of the horror genre, this watch is certainly for you. It is not, however, the timekeeper of choice of a regular watch enthusiasts with more classic taste, but even those who will not be thrilled by the watch’s looks will have to appreciate the originality of the new shocking timekeeper by Yvan Arpa.

Yvan Arpa
Toads, Butterflies, Bullets and Blood
Ever since the foundation of ArtyA, the brand has been presenting timekeepers you just do not see every day. Previously, Arpa’s company has presented peculiar products that included rarely or yet unused components, such as rusty metal, toad skin for the attachment, liquid dials, actual butterfly wings on the face and even real bullets. The first watch with bullets on the face named Son of a Gun we have previously covered, became the starting point for the launch of the collection of one-of-a-kind timekeepers with potentially deadly elements. This Halloween timekeeper is the last one in the series.

ArtyA Halloween Watch
The new ArtyA watch is hand-made and fitted into a round stainless steel housing with the diameter of 47mm, and made with two silver bullets that grace its face. In addition to the distinctive bezel with cross hair motif that is present in all the watches by the brand, this is about everything we can know for sure about the watch, because it is the point where facts end and fiction starts. Other characteristics that were disclosed are mostly just figments of imagination (and a part of a clever marketing) that do seem very appropriate with the Halloween theme of the piece.
Nothing Special, Just a Few Drops of a Werewolf’s Blood
Let us start with the bullets. According to the manufacturer, the bullets used on the dial are handmade constructed and engraved, and then rubbed in garlic during a full moon. As if it was not enough, ArtyA says that the red liquid on the dial is actually werewolf’s blood. Who killed the werewolf, you might ask, and there is a ready answer for it – ArtyA did.
Despite the silliness of the concept, one has to appreciate the originality of the timekeeper. With such an unusual palette of products ArtyA has so far presented, it will be very interesting to see what Yvan Arpa’s next creation will be. That is, if he is not too busy saving Switzerland from werewolves.
