TAG Heuer made the most of the foregoing Monaco Grand Prix, organizing amazing series of celebrity events, centered around the famous Formula 1 circuit. As the new Official Watch and Eyewear of the Monaco Grand Prix, Swiss company successfully presented its “150 Years of Motor Racing” celebration.
Attended by a number of celebrities and F1 stars, the gala started on Friday, May 27th at the Amber Lounge Fashion Show, a charity event that was supported by H.S.H Prince Albert II. Special auction of two exclusive TAG Heuer timepieces – the Formula 1 Lady Steel & Ceramic Chronograph with Diamond dial and diamond bezel and the McQueen Monaco Chronograph, with the iconic blue dial of the original worn by the actor, in the classic 1970 movie Le Mans, helped raising money for the Special Olympics.
Both watches come with the special ACM (Automobile Club de Monaco) logo that gives them a touch of uniqueness. The Monaco was sold for 22,000 Euros, while the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Lady watch reached the price of 16,000 Euros.
The TAG Heuer’s ambassador and F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton promoted brand’s flagship model – the Monaco V4 Rose Gold. Iconic watch collection was also presented trough the Monaco V4 Titanium and the single-piece creation, Monaco Mikrograph watch.
One of the kinds Mikrograph will be sold at the Only Watch charity auction, in Monaco, on September 22. Collected money will help research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Lewis Hamilton had the honor to show the timepiece to Luc Pettavino, the President of the Only Watch.
