This movement derives from the reliable high-performing Breitling Caliber 01, one of the world’s top automatic movements. It is specially developed and crafted within company’s facilities for Breitling Chronomat GMT and includes the same ground-breaking characteristics as its predecessor, including a column wheel and a vertical coupling clutch for precise activation.

Simple Timezone Switching
The Chronomat GMT features two central hour hands. The first hour hand matches the minute hand and runs in 12-hour mode. The second is tipped with a red triangle, runs over a 24-hour scale and indicates home time. When the wearer is in his home country, two hour hands move in a synchronized manner. Switching between timezones is outstandingly simple, which makes this Breitling watch a perfect traveler’s timepiece.
