Montegrappa, the oldest Italian manufacturer of fine writing instruments, will be exhibiting at the Baselworld for the first time. Apart from producing luxury pen collections and cuff links, Montegrappa is also known for constructing the NeroUno line of watches.
Named after an exclusive line of pens, NeroUno watches are made in collaboration with the finest Swiss watchmakers. The product of this partnership is the NeroUno collection of timepieces, which combines the best features of both classic and modern watches.
Every timepiece made by Montegrappa is equipped with a high-end wide leather strap with crocodile pattern and features, either a Ronda 6004 quartz movement or a Swiss automatic movement. The prestigious Italian company chose to include two of the world’s most dependable movements for the automatic versions. The chronographs are equipped with the most popular self-winding movement ever – Valjoux 7750, while the other version features equally reliable ETA-2824.
These timepieces are water resistant to 40 meters and include a black gemstone mounted in its crown. Watch enthusiasts can decide between NeroUno watches made of stainless steel and the ones with a rose gold PVD finish. Both types can be acquired with black or silver dials. The dials of the chronograph version are available in aqua green, racing yellow and underwater blue.
