GC watches, founded by Paul Marciano with intent to produce timepieces that represent “Smart Luxury”, are once again present at the biggest international watch fair. For this year’s edition of Baselworld 2011, the company has prepared latest timepieces that highlight its position as a “Statement” brand of watches.
Exhibition features three new additions to the Glam collection and four men’s timepieces from the new series of 3-hand SlimClassic watches. Four exclusive limited editions of Gc Skeleton Heartbeat are also displayed, as well as three new models from ladies’ series Gc Mini and Chic Gc Femme. The list of novelties is concluded with a new set, named Gc Phantom, which includes two Gc Sport Class XXL Phantom chronographs and two matching luxurious pens.

Diamonds and Classical Design
New watches from the Gc XL-S Glam collection displayed at Baselworld 2011 will be available on market in September. Three models named the Gc XL-Glam Precious are scintillating timepieces with ceramic cases and bracelets. These novelties feature stationary bezel with 18, 36 or 84 Wesselton brilliant cut certified diamonds.

The list of new products continues with four timepieces from the Gc SlimClass series are watches with sober and pure design. These products feature classical style with a twist, and include an eccentrically placed seconds counter at 7 o’clock position. Their main distinctive characteristic is a very thin case, only 6.5 millimeters thick.

Limited Edition Highlights the Exhibition
Probably the most notable Gc novelties are watches from the Gc Skeleton Heartbeat limited edition that take contemporary design to the next level of sophistication. These watches feature completely transparent sapphire crystal and case back and offer unblocked view of the mechanical ETA 2801 movement with manual winding. Versions with black and brown leather strap are limited to 150 pieces, whereas two more luxurious variations with 48 diamonds consist of only 25 watches.
Sporty Chic for Women
Three new timepieces from the ladies’ collection Gc Mini Chic are also displayed at Baselworld 2011. These dressy and elegant products are the smallest of company’s timepieces. These watches feature a small round case, just 28 millimeters wide, and a mirror dial with Roman numerals.

Exhibited models from the Gc Femme collection are all about details. These alluring products with sporty chic are true representatives of modern lifestyle of active women. The prominent detail of this collection is the crown protector clip. These watches also feature a round case and bezel with subtle minute engravings or diamond settings. Two out of three models are chronographs with the Ronda R5030 quartz movement.
Final addition to Gc’s collection is the Gc XXL Phantom Set. This set consists of two ceramic chronographs with matt finish. These graceful watches from the limited set are all-white and all-black, and paired with matching ballpoint pens with chromed steel accents.
