Citizen has displayed new solar powered models, equipped with its groundbreaking Eco-Drive technology. The Citizen Appleseed XIII watch, that receives time calibration from the 24 navigational satellites, leads the list of amazing newcomers. New exciting models from the Campanola, the Atessa, the Chronomaster and the Exceed collection have also been displayed.
The world’s largest watchmaker Citizen has once again exhibited its new models at the biggest watch fair. The Japanese company has displayed its extraordinary products at the Baselworld Watch and Jewelry Show every year since 1985.

Citizen Appleseed XIII
The most notable timepiece of this year’s exhibition is the Citizen Appleseed XIII with the revolutionary Eco-Drive Satellite Wave technology. This amazing timepiece, with the Calibre H990 movement draws energy from light and receives ultra-precise time calibration from the nearest of the 24 navigation satellites.
Satellite signals are sent from 20,000 kilometers above the earth to every corner of the planet. The futuristic Citizen Appleseed XIII combines astonishing technical features with modern design, and features a round, Earth-inspired case made of ceramic and steel.
Other Newcomers
Next addition to Citizen’s abundant range of products is a new Campanola. This high-end collection features exceptional Japanese laquer hand crafted dials. The new Citizen Campanolas (models BU0020-03A and BU0020-03B) will be available in July for $3,500.

The new members of the Citizen Attesa series are also exhibited at the Baselworld 2011. These enticing timepieces resemble watches from the current Direct Flight collection and feature the same radio controlled Caliber H610. Models BY0040-51F and BY0040-51E from the Atessa collection will be released in May and will cost around $1,600.

Citizen Chronomaster
Three new Chronomasters that combine Eco-Drive technology, with highly accurate quartz movement have also been displayed. Classically designed models AQ1000-58A, AQ1000-58B and AQ1000-58E all feature a neat power reserve indicator at ten o’clock position. Watches from the Chronomaster collection will be released in May at the price of $2.600.
The list of newcomers is completed with four novelties from the Citizen Exceed collection. Three new elegant men’s models (CB3000-51A, EC1000-51A and CB3000-51E) and one graceful women’s style (model EC1004-50D) are the latest addition to this remarkable collection. These models will be available in June for $1,680.
