Bulova – The Precision of Quartz at Its Maximum

The highlight of this year’s Baselworld Watch Show for Bulova Corporation was definitely the announcement that Sir Richard Branson is the new ambassador of the Accutron line of products. However, there is more exciting news. Bulova also presented the Precisionist – the world’s most precise quartz watch with a sweeping hand, as well as watches from stylish Diamond collection and chunky new models from Marine Star series.

BulovaThe Bulova Precisionist watches are quality products that exceed all previous similar timepieces. Bulova claims that the Precisionist is “The world’s most accurate watch with a continuously sweeping second hand”. This claim is certainly backed with facts, because of the inclusion of a three pronged quartz crystal that vibrates at an amazing frequency of 262.144 kHz, which is the highest frequency for any wristwatch.

Bulova Corporation has also equipped their product with a new technology that enables the Precisionist to be unaffected with temperature changes, which is often a weakness of quartz watches.

All these innovations are the reason why the Precisionist is much more accurate than any other similar wristwatch – while the most other quartz timepieces are accurate to within 10 seconds per month; the Bulova Precisionist has an amazing precision of within 10 seconds per year.

There are four different collections of the Bulova Precisionist: Champlain, Claremont, Tanglewood and Longwood. The featured watch from this series is the Bulova Champlain Men’s Watch model 98B143 with stainless steel bracelet. This lovely refined product has a multi-layered carbon-fiber face with gracious stylized date display and it also features a water resistance of 300 meters.

Black Face with Hand-Set Diamonds for Fashionistas

For those who are more inclined to fashionable timepieces, Bulova has prepared new striking watches from Diamond collection.

Probably the most notable of Bulova Diamond watches is the alluring black model 98D001, which is a true masterpiece of design.

This superb product is in stainless steel with black ion plating, and includes 12 diamonds hand-set on a black enamel dial. The lovely Bulova has a dome-shaped metalized crystal and water resistance of 30 meters.

The list of novelties is concluded with exclusive pieces from the Bulova Marine Star collection, constructed of quality materials and built to last. All chunky watches from this series include quartz movement, large bezels, wide bracelets and enlarged hour markers. The most interesting timepiece from this series is the Bulova Marine Star Chronograph model 98B151. It is a black watch with white and gray accents, leather strap and chronograph function.

i agree, it is much better when they keep the design simple. the bracelet is also a perfect match for that black dial. and the dimonds do add a special touch of class. I will just have to check the price to see if it’s the right wristwatch for me.
