Hermes has presented its new original Arceau Le Temps Suspendu Watch. The innovative timepiece has been developed in collaboration with Agenhor and features the original time suspension complication. With a single push, the hour and minute hands stop and the time appears to be suspended. However, the automatic movement continues running and with another push, the hands are repositioned to their correct place.
Hermes has presented its innovative and truly original timepiece from the Arceau collection. The amazing new Arceau Le Temps Suspendu watch is the latest incarnation of this series, which was originally conceived by Henri d’Origny back in 1989. This authentic collection includes beautiful timepieces like the Grand Arceau Moon Phase and the Arceau Pocket Promenade de Longchamp.
Completely New Module
For its latest product, Hermes has collaborated with Agenhor from Geneva to create a completely new module. The amazing avant-garde complication featured in this watch is the reflection of Hermes’s philosophy of adding playful and original functions to its products.
When you press the pusher situated at nine o’clock, the hour and minute hands stop around noon and the hand from its neat retrograde date display completely disappears from the dial. This gives the illusion that the time is suspended. At the same time, the automatic movement keeps on working. When you press the pusher again, the hands of the Hermes Arceau Le Temps Suspendu are repositioned to the correct place and the time is no longer suspended!
This imaginative watch is available in the distinctive Arceau round case with its graceful stirrup-shaped lugs. Hermes has created versions with opaline silvered face (with rose gold or steel case) and with a black dial (only with steel case). The crystal is anti glare sapphire and there is also a choice between matt Havana and black alligator leather strap.
