Breitling’s latest proud and joy – the Breitling for Bentley Ice Record Edition – will be publicly displayed for the first time, at the forthcoming Baselworld 2011 Watch Show. This sporty timepiece, also known as the Breitling for Bentley Supersports Light Body chronograph commemorates a new world record on ice, achieved by driving at the formidable speed of over 330 km/h with the Bentley Continental GTC Supersports.
This feat was accomplished by former quadruple rally champion Juha Kankkunen, who worn the Breitling for Bentley Ice Record Edition, when he set this admirable record.
The Breitling for Bentley Supersports Light Body chronograph includes the 35 jewel Breitling Calibre 27B high-frequency automatic movement, a titanium case (about 45 millimeters in diameter) and a bidirectional rotating slide rule bezel. It also features a royal ebony dial, with red accents and white hands, a rubber strap and a cambered sapphire crystal. This limited commemorative edition consists of 1,000 exquisitely crafted pieces.
