The Schaffhausen-based watch manufacturer refreshed its Ingenieur Collection with several amazing timepieces. One of the most interesting releases is Ingenieur Dual Time Titanium that boasts a second local time display and is perfect for world travelers and businessmen who travel a lot because it helps the wearer to keep track while changing time zones.

IWC Ingenieur Dual Time Titanium Watch
The new Ingenieur features the classic dual time watch design with two hour hands set on its dial. The current local time is shown on the gray dial, while the hand with the white triangle indicates the second time on the outer 24-hour ring.
The wearer’s local time can be adjusted (advanced or moved back) in one-hour steps via the crown coated with black rubber, even beyond the International Date Line. The second time zone is shown via the hand with the white triangle which rotates once every 24 hours, and thus indicates not only the time in a different time zone, but also whether it is day or night as well (the top half of the 24-hour ring, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., is darker than the lower one).

The dial also displays the date in a small white-on-black window which is traditionally situated at the 3 o’clock position. The hour and minute hands are partially covered with luminous coating.

The case of the Dual Time Titanium timepiece, as its name suggests, is crafted from titanium and measures 45mm in diameter and 13mm in thickness. Although it is pretty large, at the same time it feels relatively light on the wearer’s wrist since it is built from titanium. The watch’s case is domed on both sides with a flat antireflective sapphire glass. The water resistance is assured down to 120 meters (circa 400 feet).
IWC Ingenieur Dual Time Titanium Watch (the referent number is IW326403) comes with the five characteristic ceramic screw heads on its bezels, which is a reinterpretation of Gérald Genta’s original design cues. These ceramic screw heads are used in all new Ingenieur models.
