Five new limited editions, in five different colors, from the Invicta Russian Diver collection are standard quartz watches presented with the original design of dials, fitted in oversized cases and supplied with crowns on the left sides of the cases. Though they are not equipped with many complications (in fact, the basic timekeeping function is only complemented with the dial display), they certainly look very interesting and they have cool names.
Each of the limited edition features the same basic characteristic. The multi-layered camouflage-styled dial is combined with the standard features of watches from this line of products, such as a large round case, even for the modern standards (with the diameter of 52 mm and the thickness of 18 mm), as well as a distinctive screw cap crown with a chain. Considering the fact that these watches are from the limited editions (still not so exclusive, since each of them consists of 5,000 pieces) it is no wonder that the standard feature is tweaked a bit and that crowns rest on the left sides of the cases. This decision combined with other traits thus recommends the watches from the Invicta Russian Diver Camo Limited Editions to all left-handed people who are inclined to oversized quartz watches with unusual designs.
Siberian Tiger, Jungle Predator, Tsunami Warrior, Desert Storm and Night Owl
Apart from the neat camouflage pattern, the dials of these watches are provided with Arabic numerals on every single hour positions and with luminous hands. A tiny dial aperture, surprisingly discrete for such sassy design, is located at the nine o’clock position in accordance to a lefty-reversed style.
The case and the stationary bezel of the watch are constructed from stainless steel, and the crystal is, as usual for Invicta wristwatches, constructed of a flame-fusion synthetic material. The beating heart of the timepiece is the Swiss-made Ronda 515 quartz movement. The case-backs are solid and individually numbered. It is worth saying that the straps are polyurethane, while the water resistance is limited to 100 meters.
As previously noted, there are five different variations, in five different camouflage patterns, all bearing interesting and cool names. The predominately white version 1195 is named Siberian Tiger. The green model 1196 is called Jungle Predator. The third in line is the blue variation 1197 with a catchy name, Tsunami Warrior. The next in line is the brown variation 1198, otherwise known as the Desert Storm. The fifth and the final version is the Night Owl with a black dial and a designation 1199.
