A Transparent Dial that Flaunts Mechanical Excellence

invicta-quinotaur-russian-diver-watch-3486The Invicta Quinotaur Russian Diver watch is truly a unique timepiece with the original transparent design. The appearance of this Invicta watch is inspired with the original Russian Diver from 1959. That was the year when the Soviets commissioned 100 timepieces from Invicta. Those Invicta watches were intended for the elite divers from the Soviet Naval Fleet.

The Quinotaur features a distinctive large crown with a protective cap which is one of the elements that separates this Russian Diver watch from the timepieces with a traditional look. This exceptional model also possesses an unusual, transparent, mineral skeleton dial which proudly flaunts its hand-winding, Swiss mechanical movement ETA 6497 17 jewels (18.000 vibrations per hour). This enables a clear insight to how this timepiece functions. It is especially interesting to see how the mechanical Swiss movement responds when it is being winded.

invicta-quinotaur-russian-diver-watch-casebackThe case of this Invicta watch is made of solid stainless steel. The Invicta’s model 3468 from the Russian Diver line of products also has a coin-edged, stainless steel stationary bezel.  The oversized case has 53 millimeters in diameter, which makes this timepiece the largest Invicta watch (the case is 16 millimeters thick). This Invicta Russian Diver features the Tritnite luminous hands and there are also some Tritnite dots at the edge of the bezel.

The strap of the Invicta Quinotaur watch is made of stainless-steel and rubber and it has a stainless-steel buckle.

Water Adventures with a Unique Timepiece

This Invicta Russian Diver is 100 meters water resistant, which enables it to become the essential part of the equipment for the water activities, like light diving, snorkeling or swimming. Though it is perfectly fitting for such adventure-like activities, the Quinotaur 3468 from the Russian Diver series is also appropriate for formal occasions.

invicta-quinotaur-russian-diver-watch-3846The largest Invicta watch, Russian Diver Quinotaur, is a real representative of an innovational design and careful construction, which involves a creative design and a precision engineering. One of the top Invicta watches is a natural choice for people who appreciate creativity and who are interested to see the actual functioning of the mechanical, hand-winding movement.

This Invicta Russian Diver watch has some twin models that feature only slight changes. The model 3469 features 23-karat gold-plated case, and the model 3846 has a rose-gold stainless-steel case. The models 3841, 3842 and 3467, from the Russian Diver series, include titanium cases and bezels, whereas the Quinotaur 3844 features a stainless steel case.

this is really something else! i always liked to have a bit different watches and this one is looking totally weird with the transparent dial. The 3486 is especially cool, i think I’ll get that one. All of them look great, so it won’t be easy to choose! I won’t mind winding it because of that crown! It’s so cute with the little chain and all…

I bought this beautiful watch last month for 400 dollars. I am really satisfied with it. It looked even better out of the box than the photos I had seen before deciding to buy it. If you’re looking for an original diver watch, this one is highly recommended.

the chain attached to its crown is a nice touch. also a transparent case is also great looking. hope it is not too expensive. they are all perfect except the gold one. i do not really like that one.

I like watches with army style. This one is a perfect example of that. This Invicta Quinotaur Russian Diver goes with me and with my style of dressing. The Model 3841 is the most beautiful of all models of this watch.

  5. Victor Oliver March 22, 2012

The design of this watch is incredible. To be honest, I had a prejudice about Invicta watches, but now I know that these watches are quality, good looking and with sport character. I plan to buy one of these as soon as possible.

  6. Jamie Fox March 22, 2012

This skeleton dial is a hit among the watches. And this combination of a skeleton dial and a stainless steel – black rubber bracelet looks so good! Another great thing about this watch is its incredible price. It is very acceptable for everyone’s budget.
