Hublot’s lavish piece from the MP-06 is truly a decadent piece that represents the  upmost luxury and affluence. It is yet another of the models that melds high-end watchmaking with upper-scale jewelry, which is immediately recognizable. This men’s watch is completely covered with baguette diamonds which are set all over its gold case and some sections of its skeletonized movement, as well as all over its clasp. There are exactly 520 precious stones with the total weight of around 36.67 carats. Such opulence of diamonds is combined with a skeletonized manufacture tourbillion movement to give the model additional haute horlogerie quality. The price of the watch is naturally very high and measures to around $805,000.

Hublot MP-06 High Jewellery Full Baguette Watch

The Hublot’s model is certainly not intended to people who do not like to attract attention. MP-06 High Jewellery Full Baguette is, as its name indicates, completely covered with white baguette diamonds which are set in a Cloue de Paris setting. Most of them are placed on its tonnau shaped case made of 18 K King Gold (though it is very hard to find information about the exact dimensions of the housing, it is most probable that it is 45 mm wide and 51 mm long).

The bezel, and the case-band which are made of the Hublot patented gold alloy with polish finish are virtually covered with shiny stones. There is exactly 412 white diamonds on the housing which weigh somewhere around 28.33 carats.

More precious stones can be seen on the x-shaped bridges of the skeletonized movement, which is visible through the transparent section of the dial. There are 75 additional diamonds with the weight of about 3.47 carats. By the way, the dial is made of King Gold and sapphire, while the latter material with both exterior and interior anti-reflective treatment was used for the crystal of the piece. This glass also includes a metallized logo if the brand. Another logo of Hublot is printed on the inner side of the watch’s face.

The opulence of precious stones continues with the ones that were used to embellish the clasp. Once again, one can notice a King Gold surface which is embellished with white baguette diamonds in Cloue de Paris setting. Over here, there are 36 more gems whose weight measures to 4.87 carats. All in all, it is quite an impressive presence of jewels which highly contribute to the very steep price of the piece.

However, the model is not only a high-jewelry piece, but also a high-end watchmaking product, since it includes a skeletonized manufacture tourbillion movement. It is HUB9006 mechanical hand-wound movement which consists of 155 components and integrates 19 jewels in its construction. The movement with a tourbillion cage which is held in place with a blackened titanium bridge operates at lower frequency of 21,600 vph which is usual for this type of calibers. Once fully wound, it has quite the extensive power reserve which keeps the watch running for 120 hours which is equivalent to five entire days. The caliber is exposed from both sides of the case.

The attachment which was chosen for lavish Hublot MP-06 Jewellery Baguette is made of black alligator leather with black stitching which is inlayed with black rubber on the interior side. Its mentioned sparkly clasp is of deployant type.

Hublot MP-06 Jewellery Baguette has the reference number 906.OX.9000.LR.9904. It is certainly a very luxurious piece, but maybe also a bit too tacky one, despite its extreme value.
