Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Lady is equipped with the exceptional in-house manufactured caliber GP02700-0003 automatic-winding mechanical movement which has been reduced in size to fit in an average sized ladies watch case. The self-winding caliber measures 19.4mm in diameter and 4.2mm in thickness and contains 178 individual parts.
The movement provides the usual functions of hours, minutes and date indications and it is capable to store enough power to keep the watch ticking for approximately 36 hours. The impeccable mechanism is built on 26 jewels and oscillates at the rapid frequency of 28,800 alternations per hour (4Hz).
It features a unidirectional rotor which is fitted with ceramic ball-bearings, so it requires no lubrication. The movement also has an escape-wheel pivoting between two combined settings. Furthermore, its transversal balance-cock provides greater accuracy for controlling the shake of the balance.

Underneath the front sapphire crystal glass lies an elegant chocolate colored dial which is encrusted at its center with a trail of 42 brilliant-cut diamonds. This gem-setting highlights a “rail track”-styled minute-marking. The dial also comprises dauphine-type and diamond-polished hour and minute hands which are curved by the skillful hand of the watchmaker so as to follow the contours of the dial.
When you turn the watch upside down, the case back, which is held in place by screws and fitted with sapphire crystal, reveals the finishes of the caliber which includes the oscillating weight, engraved with a “tapestry” of Girard-Perregaux logos.
The newest version of Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Lady Watch comes with a chocolate-colored alligator leather strap, ending with a triple folding clasp. The watch is also available with an elegant stainless steel bracelet.
