Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady Bronze Dial Watch Case
This new Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady with the referent number 49528D52B871-CKBA is housed in a feminine, round pink gold case which measures 30mm in diameter and 8.9mm in thickness. The watch is protected with sapphire crystals and constructed to resist water pressure of up to 30 meters (about 100 feet).
Underneath the front sapphire glass lies a gorgeous cognac-colored dial that features a guilloché decoration in a beautiful pattern inspired by the petals of a flower.
The shimmering dial face shines with its arrays branching out from the center like a corolla radiating outward. Each consists of a succession of delicate arabesques, like so many petals of a flower with their sparkling reflections. Sparkling white diamonds are set around the rim of the dial. The bezel is encrusted with 80 diamonds following one upon the other to the end of each lug weighing approximately 0.73 carats.

Two elegant leaf-shaped hands enhance the dial, whereas the hours are emphasized by hour markers set with diamonds, except for 6 and 12 o’clock which are marked by delicately polished, large pink gold Roman numerals. The dial also comprises two leaf-shaped hour and minute hands.
The beating heart of the new Girard-Perregaux 1966 Lady is the mechanical self-winding movement Girard-Perregaux GP03200-0005 which is entirely developed, made and assembled in the workshops of the Manufacture and decorated in traditional style.

The impeccable mechanism can be seen via a see-through case back together with its golden oscillating weight graced with the Girard-Perregaux’s insignia. The movement offers hour and minute functions and has a 42-hour power reserve. Decorated in the spirit of haute horlogerie, the movement is build on 26 jewels and has a beating rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
To complete a discreet elegance of the new ladies’ timepiece, Girard-Perregaux teamed it with a chocolate-colored glazed alligator leather strap, ending with a pink gold pin buckle.
