Paint it black – the Fortis B-42 Black Black Automatic

The simplest but for most watch designers impossible combinations, became a reality. Black on black, why not! Fortis introduces a limited edition of the new B-42 Black Black Automatic Day/Date.

Fortis B-42 Black Black Limited Edition Watch

Enthusiastic experiments with the innovative designs, which is one of the brand’s commitments, have led Fortis to the great number of legendary watches.

Using a extraordinary mechanical movements and the strongest materials, Fortis has never forgotten to give a final appealing look to its watches.

Fortis B-42 Black Black is definitely one of  the biggest brand’s surprise. Its minimalist layout does not violate the watch’s legibility at all.

The PVD-coated black titanium case, with 42 mm in diameter, comes with black rubber or leather strap and black crown. It provides water resistant to 200 meters and has a rotating diver’s bezel, with 60-minute scale and a Superluminova capsule at 12.

Bright-white SuperLuminova coating, applied to the halves of hour and minute hands, makes them ‘easy to read’, as well as day/date windows. Gentle contrasts of blacks on the hour markers, basel, and dial, provides a quite nice visibility.

Anti-reflective sapphire crystal covers both side of the case. Emblems of the Russian space authorities FSA Roscosmos and Cosmonauts Training Center, Star City are engraved on the caseback of the B42 Black & Black.

Fortis watch is powered by the ETA 2836-2 automatic movement, with 25 jewels, 28.800 semi-vibrations per hour, fine timing device and Incabloc shock absorber.

Just 2012 pieces of new Fortis B-42 Black Black is waiting for you. Hurry up.

Wow, this watch is so cool. It`s all in black color which is my favorite. But the design isn`t the only good trait of this watch. It also has great features and mechanism in which you can always count and which are very reliable. This watch is great for me. But I also know that there is a lot of people who will say that this watch looks bad because it`s all in black and because it doesn`t have any chronograph buttons or some other cool function. But for me, this is the best watch in the world!

  2. Milton Sulivan March 5, 2012

Leslie, listen to me. You have a wrong opinion about this watch. This watch looks just fine. Fortis has a reliable mechanism and good quality for years. Also, it has a super water resistance of 200 meters. So if you like this watch like you said, you should buy it, don`t worry, you won’t regret. Trust me.

  3. Rubbern Hamilton March 5, 2012

I don`t like this watch. 90 % of all watches are in black, and this one is all black and to be honest, I don’t like black. I prefer white or blue.

  4. Claude Francis May 22, 2012

The only good thing about this watch are its features. I don`t like the design at all, and that`s very strange considering I`m a fan of a black color. The water resistance has really impressed me, I didn`t believe that any Fortis watch has that good water resistance. You must admit that 200 meters aren`t bad at all, on the contrary.

  5. Duane Adkins May 22, 2012

Wow, those luminous hands look amazing. I really like them. This watch may be my next choice when I decide to change this old Swatch on my wrist. Fortis B 42 Black is an extraordinary watch made from quality materials. It has a lot of interesting features which make it the most wanted Fortis watch in the world.

  6. Otis May 22, 2012

Duane, it`s obvious that you didn`t buy a good watch for years. Listen to me now, if you want a quality watch, with a decent look, a fine mechanism and good features, choose one of Sector watches. They aren`t expensive, so for a small amount of money, you can have an excellent watch.
