As the official sponsor of Spain’s La Vuelta, Festina dedicated its new line of watches to this European road bicycle racing competition. Several stunning chronograph timepieces are part of Festina’s 2011 fall winter collection and they come in a variety of color combinations.
These chronograph watches are powered by reliable, Japanese made Quartz movements. Each of them features a stopwatch, a timer and chronograph functions.

The round 46 mm case, with 13.5 mm thickness, is made of polished and brushed stainless steel, with or without a black PVD coating. The oversized case incorporates a fixed bezel with a 60-minute tachymeter scale. Its bezel is inscribed by Arabic numerals to mark time in ten-minute steps and depending on a model, it can also be coated with a black PVD. The case incorporates a crown with the stamped brand’s signature and two chronograph push buttons.
FestinaLa Vuelta Men’s Chronograph Watches come either with leather or rubber straps, or with gray stainless steel bracelets, securely finished with folding-clasps with push buttons and safety locks to hold these wristwatches in their places. A mineral crystal guards the dial from scratches and insures legibility even after a long time of heavy use.
The dial is full of details. Firstly, set on the raised rim, there is an originally rounded circle, designed to look like a bicycle tire. There are also three differently sized chronograph sub-dials for measuring 60 minutes, 60 seconds and 24 hours. They are nicely situated at twelve, six and nine o’clock positions, leaving a free space at the three o’clock position for Festina’s logo. Below the brand’s logo, there is a date indicator, shown through a round black window. Festina incorporated luminous tips on skeletonized hour and minute hands to provide perfect legibility under all conditions.
The new La Vuelta chronograph watch is able to withstand water pressure up to 100 meters (330 feet), so it can be worn during water activities.

This fall, Festina brought several men’s timepieces from La Vueltaline. Three of them boast blue vivid dials, and there is a choice among a metal bracelet (the model F16565/2), a black leather strap (F16566/2) and a black rubber strap (F16567/4). For those who prefer more common colors in watchmaking design (black, gray and white), I recommend the models with the referent numbers F16565/4, F16566/3 and F16567/8. Here you can also choose among wristlets made from steel, leather and rubber.

I just want to introduce two more models with sport white dials. Their referent numbers are F16565/1 and F16566/1. The first one is attached to a metal bracelet, while the second one matches a black leather strap.

Festina offers all these timepieces at reasonable prices. Depending on a model, they are priced from $200 to $230.
These are indeed lovely models of Spain’s Festina La Vuelta collection. I think between two variations- F16566/1 with white dial and black details or F16566/3 with black dial. I like this dial because it has full of details and useful functions. Both models have a wonderful black rubber strap, These are lovely chronographs.
Festina often has reasonable prices but it always has excellent quality and new pretty design. I like this Festina’s 2011 winter collection with a variety materials and many combinations of colors.
My boyfriend is a loyal fan of this known brand and chronograph watches. Does someone can help me about the choice of watch for him because this collection has a lot of watches?

Then you find out his favorite color, but you don’t worry because if you decide for a black dial then you certainly will not make a mistake.
Festina La Vuelta Chronograph watch with a blue dial and black sub dials (F16566/2) looks very modern. I like this combination of light and dark blue color on its dial. The watch has an interesting dial look because of many details.
Jimmy, this watch really looks interesting, but the material of its strap is bad. It is better that you choose rubber, stainless steel or leather.
The best model is Festina La Vuelta Chronograph Watch F16566/5 with red details and a white rim around the dial. It looks very interesting and athletic. The white watch is also of my taste – Festina La Vuelta Chronograph Watch F16565/1.
