To celebrate the sponsorship of the Giro d Italia 2011, Festina launched the impressive collection of eight eye-catching chronograph watches. These men’s timepieces are perfect for hot summer days and various outdoor activities.
This striking wristwatch is housed in a round case, crafted from stainless steel. The attractive case measures 45.5 mm in diameter, with the thickness of only 14 mm. The case carries a stunning bezel with a tachymeter scale. It is the standard 60-minutes scale which comes in a variety of eye-catching color combinations. On the left side of the case, there is a crown with the side protection and two chronograph push buttons.
The front side of the case is protected by a high quality mineral crystal for a clear view and the best reading. This chronograph also has a screw down case back, and the solid case construction guarantees water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet).
This year’s novelty from Festina can be attached either to a fashionable stainless steel bracelet, or to a sporty styled rubber strap, both fitted with polished steel pin buckles with engraved Festina signatures.
The heightened accuracy is provided with the incorporation of Japanese Citizen Quartz chronograph movement.
A Youthful Timepiece in a Variety of Color Combinations
Most watches from this collection feature black colored dials (blue and silver versions are also offered). For the perfect legibility in low light conditions, Festina has brought luminous materials on its dial. Luminous markers and “easy to read” skeletonized hands with luminous tips are applied on the dial. The dial also comprises two chronograph sub-dials, a date window and a 60-minutes scale, set on the raised rim. Chronograph counters are symmetrically positioned at 3 and 9 o’clock positions, and they measure 24-hours and 60-minutes. A small date aperture is situated at the 6 o’clock position.
Festina offers eight different models from this collection. Four of them come with gray bracelets, whereas four other Gyro chronographs are attached to rubber straps.
The price tags for versions accessorized with metal bracelets are about $215 for each of them and you can choose among models with bezels in red (F16564/1), black (F16564/4), green (F16564/6) or yellow color (F16564/7).
The models with rubber straps are more affordable. Each of these youthful wristwatches can be purchased for approximately $200. They are also more striking, because the colors of their dials match the colors of their straps. There is a choice among yellow (F16574/1), orange (F16574/2), blue (F16574/3) and red (F16574/5) versions.
Besides partnership with the Giro d Italia, Festina is also the official timekeeper of Tour de France, and the sponsor of Spain’sLa Vuelta, the Tour of Poland and several marathons, such as Berlin, Hamburg and Karsthand.
