The idea of serious diving with a fashion brand’s timepiece is not bad at all when it comes to Chanel J12 Marine watches. As a matter of fact, Chanel has created pretty impressive dive timepieces that with their toughness, readability, precision and stability guarantee high performances up to 300 meters (990 feet) under water. Besides, like every J12 watch, diving models possess distinctive design and casual elegance, which makes them perfect for everyday wear.

Chanel used its signature material, high-tech ceramic and combined it with stainless steel to get a tough body, highly resistant to scratches and water pressure. Either 38 or 42 mm wide, the case of the J12 Marine watch incorporates a steel unidirectional rotating bezel, with a high-tech ceramic disc that features a graduated 60 minute scale for easy reading of diving time. You do not need to worry about readability in extreme conditions, because Chanel created a super-legible lacquer dial, with hands (a fat arrow hour hand, a blue baton minutes hand and a tiny seconds hand), applied hour markers and the numeral ‘12′ coated with luminescent white color. Besides, a luminescent date dial is nicely placed between hour indices.

A screw down steel crown with high-tech ceramic cabochon, equipped with a crown protector, as well as a sapphire crystal glass with a blue anti-reflecting coating on the internal and external faces also provide great performances under water. Besides, there is a matte rubber strap with openings which allow water to be released. The material used for the bracelet is highly water, shock, light and UV resistant.

Chanel is not only renowned by beautiful designs and super-quality materials it uses, but also by high end mechanical movements. The J12 Marine 300M Diving Watch is not exception. It is powered with a Swiss self-winding movement that oscillates at the frequency of 28’800 vibrations per hour and provides 42 hours of power-reserve.

There are several variations of this remarkable watch, based on size and the combination of colors. The Marine Blue 42 mm (Ref H2559) seams like a perfect one. It combines black, sand-blasted ceramic and steel, a 42 mm case with a striking blue ceramic disc on the bezel and a black dial. The same combination is also available with the 38 mm case (Ref H2561).

However, a lot of you probably prefer the Marine Black 42mm (Ref H2558), because of its simplicity and bold appearance. Finally, there is the feminine version (Ref H2560) with the beautiful, white polished ceramic and steel case and the matching rubber strap and dial.

Chanel J12 Marine 300M Diving has a nice offer. Of course, I mean on the white model with the reference number H2560. I adore a unidirectional rotating bezel. The ceramic material looks excellent and it has very good quality. One thing is very important and that is that the ceramic can not be damaged.
Water-Resistance up to 990 feet is excellent to enjoy the deep sea.

Swiss self-winding movement is a high quality mechanism created in a special way. Chanel J12 marine white diving is the watch with the top design. Material selection in this model is stunning. Stainless steel and white ceramic on the white rubber strap look fantastic.
I do not like one thing on the dial and that is the position of the calendar. I like when the date is positioned at the place that shows three o’clock.

All models in the j12 collection are for men. In my opinion, only the model H2560 is unisex. Although the white watch is the only variation that could be worn by ladies, it is definitely my favorite. The offer is a small, but well chosen.
