With eight elegant timepieces from the DS Caimano Lady Automatic line, Certina tried to attract a wide range of ladies. They are designed in a charming classical style, with a hint of a delicate avant-garde feel.
DS Caimano ladies’ watches are powered by a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement which provides the usual functions of hour, minute and second, as well as a date function. Reliability and accuracy are guaranteed.
Certina Lady Automatic DS Caimano Watches
These watches are crafted from the top-grade 316L stainless steel, with or without a PVD coating, and fitted with either high quality leather straps, or steel bracelets.
A feminine round case measures 27 millimeters in diameter, with the thickness of 9.6 millimeters, and incorporates a thin polished bezel. The weight of this watch is nearly 24 grams.
Eight variations of this classical ladies’ timekeeper
The dials of the DS Caimano watches are pleasingly simple and at the same time highly readable. Six models come with Arabic numerals 3, 9 and 12, a date aperture at the 6 o’clock position and eight slim stick markers, while two other variations feature Roman numerals, as well as a date window set also at the 6 o’clock position. The dials come in either silver or black color, with silvered or black nickelled indices, as well as rose or yellow PVD coating indices.
The model with the referent number C017.207.36.087.00 features a rose PVD case with a matching color of its hands, numerals and markers. It is attached to a retro looking brown leather strap, which gives a nostalgic character to the watch.
The Swiss watchmaker also presented two versions with yellow PVD cases and yellow PVD detailing on the central segments of the bracelets. Theirs hands, numerals and markers are also treated with yellow PVD, and there is a choice is between the models with Arabic and Roman numerals (their referent numbers are C017.207.22.037.00 and C017.207.22.033.00).

Excuse me, but this watch doesn`t look like a female watch. It is too cold, it doesn`t have a certain charm which is supposed to be a part of a women’s watch. It looks like it`s made for a serious man. I really don`t like the design of this Certina DS Caimano Lady Automatic Watch. I`m very disappointed.
Elisa, I think that you are over-reacting. The watch looks just fine. I don`t know what type of the watch you like, but for me, this one is very nice. It isn`t anything special, but it meets my needs. The only problem is that currently I don`t have enough money to buy it.
I can`t believe that there are girls who think that the look is the only important thing of the watch. And what about its features, movement and other facts much more important than the look?! You don`t think about those features which are the best part of this watch. The look is nice too, but the movement and Certina`s long tradition give this watch the quality and reliability.
This is a very elegant and modern watch. It looks nice, especially the model with a black leather strap and a silver dial. I prefer watches with that combination because I prefer watches with leather straps to watches with stainless steel.
I don`t remember that I have recently seen a watch from Certina which is made for women who like and wear sport clothes and who prefer sporty lifestyle. All of their watches are too elegant and there is no watch with a sport character, with features for sport activities and stuffs like that. I hope that they will make a sporty watch in the nearest future.
