This multifunctional wristwatch is powered by a reliable Swiss made Quartz movement and is protected by sapphire crystals. It is also equipped with a well-known Certina DS (Double Security) protection system that provides high resistance against shocks and water pressure. The watch case is constructed to resist deep diving without any trouble and allows 100 meters (330 feet) of water resistance.
Its case and its bracelet are made of reinforced 316L stainless steel or high quality titanium which gives high corrosion resistance. The round case measures 41 mm in diameter and 14 mm in height, while the total weight of this watch from the Gent Quartz Collection is 180 grams. The case construction incorporates a protected crown and two smaller push-buttons (with or without a yellow PVD coating). Its case is accompanied with a stylish, two-toned (grey/anthracite) bracelet, securely finished with a buckle clasp to hold this timepiece in place.

A black, nickelled or silvered dial features luminous hands, a bold oversized Arabic numeral 12, polished hour indexes, as well as three chronograph subsidiary dials and a small date window. Its date indicator is shown through a white window at the 6 o’clock position. A tachymeter scale, with indices and Arabic numerals, is nicely set on the outer rim of the dial.
There are four versions of Certina DS Spel Chronograph watch. Two classical models are made of stainless steel and there is a choice between a black or a silver dial (their referent numbers are C012.417.11.057.00 and C012.417.11.037.00).

The third version, also made of steel, comes with a yellow PVD detailing (the referent number is C012.417.21.037.00). Certina also offers one model crafted by titanium (the referent number is C012.417.44.067.00). It features a nickelled dial and it is attached to an elegant two-toned bracelet. when I saw today this rare example of watch, I regret that I bought Invicta. This watch possesses something very special.
Great watch with a plenty of features. The model with brown leather and the a white dial is my favorite. I like the chronograph, the movement is excellent and reliable, the design is very nice and the price is acceptable.
