This mid-sized watch has a round case which has 41 mm in diameter and is 10 mm thick. The boldly designed dial features luminous hands and hour and minute markers, as well as three sub-dials and a small date window. For a chronograph function, DS First wristwatch uses the centre second and minute hands, as well as chronograph counters which are nicely set at two, six and ten o’clock positions, and they can be used for measuring the 10th second, 60 seconds and 12 hours. A white date indicator is situated at the 4 o’clock position.

DS First Chronograph Watch is powered by a Swiss made ETA 251.262 quartz movement which is built on 27 jewels. It guarantees high precision and reliability for a long time. It is also equipped with Certina’s famous DS (Double Security) protection system and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which insures its water resistance to amazing 200 meters (660 feet).
The well-known Swiss manufacturer offered four versions of this sporty timepiece. Each of the four models is attached to a solid five link bracelet that feels great on the wrist. Two smaller links are polished, while the other three are brushed. The first model, with the referent number C541.7184.12.61, is constructed of titanium and features a black-nickelled dial. It is available for approximately $710. Three other models are made of steel and there is a choice among different color combinations of theirs dials. The model C541.7184.42.51 comes with a blue dial, which gives more youthful appearance. The next variation, with the referent number C541.7184.42.67, has a sleek, black dial for a more contemporary look. The last model C541.7184.42.17 features a silvered dial, which gives a note of elegance to this sporty watch. The retail prices of these watches from the Gent Quartz Collection are below $700.

Whenever I hear the name Certina, I remember my first watch that I had. It was something like this one. It was especially dear to me because I have inherited it from my father. Now I have a son who carries my father`s name, Dean. And I think that now is the time to revive the family tradition and buy this lovely watch, and my son will get it when the time comes.
This is so nice. With water resistance of 660 feet, I can finally have a nice and quality watch, which looks amazing, and which can be used for what I like most – diving. I have been diving since I was12 years old. I love it and I have always wanted to have a nice and quality watch on my hand while diving. Now I have a chance and I won’t waste it.
Yes, this is indeed one of the nicest watches I have ever seen. It has a beautiful design, a fine mechanism and very useful functions. And most of all, the price is very, very acceptable for the watch with so many quality features.
