The case of the DS Prince Chronograph watch is crafted from 316L satin-finished stainless steel and it is accented by a smartly polished bezel.
Its 43 mm round case incorporates a protected crown and two push-buttons (the upper one is finished in black PVD). It is attached to a brown leather strap or stainless steel bracelet with a folding buckle and a twin-pushbutton closure. DS Prince watch is powered by ETA Valjoux 7753 automatic chronograph movement, built on 27 jewels. The Swiss made movement provides the regular functions of hour, minute and second, as well as a date function and a chronograph.
A sporty temperament of this watch from the Gent Automatic Collection comes with its eye-catching dial. Against silver or black background (depending on a model), the dial face is set with raised and profiled indices and a bold Arabic numeral 12. The hour and minute hands, as well as the indexes, are coated with Superluminova for the best visibility under low light conditions. The influence by the latest motor sport instrumentation is unmistakably seen through the truly superb layout of chronograph counters. The 30-minute subdial is set at the 3 o’clock position, while the 12-hour counter is positioned at the 6 o’clock. Their small hands match the same red color as the main second hand. The 60-second counter is also included. It is nicely set at the 9 o’clock position. The exact date of a month is available at the 6 o’clock position, and it has a quick-set adjustment settled on the right side of the case. Finally, the tachymeter markings are inscribed on a raised sloping edge on the interior of the bezel for clear examination.
Both sides of its case are protected by sapphire crystals, coated with antireflective materials. This watch also has a transparent mineral glass case back that shows a stunning self-winder, inscribed with a Côtes de Genève decoration and blue-tinted screws.
This timekeeper also has the well-known Certina DS (Double Security) protection system, and it is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet).
There are two versions with brown leather straps and there is a choice between a black or a silver dial (their referent numbers are C008.427.16.057.00 and C008.427.16.037.00), but it can be also accessorized with a three-row stainless steel bracelet (the referent number is C008.427.11.057.00).
