A Japanese watchmaking giant Casio has introduced two new models, each of them executed in two variations, into its Sheen palette of products. These elegant looking women’s wristwatches visually hardly resemble products that are initially associated with Casio. The new Sheen models are meant to appear refine and feminine, and to be worn as a stylish accessory. Each of these quartz watches for ladies has an advantage of using a solar-powered module which immensely contributes to the functionality. The newcomers from the Sheen collection are also made with a new kind of resin wristlet. It is made from a new kind of material and it features extraordinary resistibility, durability and stability, and is safe against scratching, discoloration and even hard shocks and impacts. Additionally, it is skin friendly and does not cause any irritation or discomfort and it fastens with a one-touch triple-fold type of clasp.
Casio Sheen SHE-4024G Watch
Two new models by Casio are manufactured in the accordance with the general intention of the Sheen collection which presents elegant, smart and shiny timepieces, hence the name Sheen. The clear white color of synthetic straps is matched with the whiteness of dials with distinctive nostalgic large numerals and Swarovski decorations. As it has been mentioned, these products have quartz movements that provide punctuality to within 20 seconds a month, providing they are not operated in extreme temperatures. Once fully charged by natural or artificial light, these modules operate thanks to its power storage that can last for as long as eight months. Apart from the basic timekeeping function, these movements also provide a date display which is shown on a small aperture at the right side of the dial. The construction of Casio Sheen timekeepers is resistant to water splashes, but not enough to make this watch an appropriate accessory for swimming. Since the newcomers are mostly designed to be decorative, it is not that surprising that they are not that tough or water proof.

Bold, Smart and Shiny
The new Casio Sheen models feature relatively large size with the diameters that approach 40 mm which is quite substantial, especially for a ladies’ watch. As it has been said, there are two new basic styles, which feature different types of dials, and different dimensions. The first model’s distinctive trait is the use of five large Roman numerals in rose gold tone which are accompanied with six hour markers made from Swarovski elements and skeleton hands in color that matches the numerals. There are two versions of the watch: the model SHE-4024 has a case and a narrow stationary bezel made from steel and in silver nuance, while the other one (the SHE-4024G) has these components forged in the shade of rose gold. This is the smaller model, with the diameter of 34 mm and the thickness of 8.1 mm.

The other new model from the Sheen series by Casio is made with Arabic numerals and with thicker ornate bezel. Unlike the previous product, this watch is equipped with a low battery warning indication. Its diameter equals to 38.4 mm, while its thickness is slightly less than in the first instance, and it is 7.7 mm. This model also has two variations, just like the other novelty. The first one of them is the model SHE-4025SB with numerals in lavender tone and with six sections of the bezel decorated with Swarovski crystal. The last among new arrivals by Casio, the timekeeper with the reference number SHE-4026SB has its white dial in the combination with oversized rose gold toned Arabic numerals, while its bezel is entirely encrusted with sparkling decorations. Each of four timekeepers has the cheapest type of dial protection – mineral crystal.
