Watches from the Casio G-Shock Mini 9600 line are stylish and slick products. They are based on the men’s model DW9600 G-Shock Classic which is modified into a compact version and refreshed with a bold choice of colors. These timepieces have the same toughness and extreme resilience of the G-Shock series, but are enriched with a feminine touch of style.
There are four versions of these durable and reliable products. The first version, Casio GMN692-5 features a foxy combination of a chocolate-colored bracelet and a two-tone pink dial. The second model GMN691-7B has a stylish white band and a pink face, with a neutral digital display. The GMN691-4 features a courageous pink strap and a black dial, with a neutral display, while the most conservative style is the model GMN691G-1 that has a black band and a yellow display.
Each of these versions is an ultra tough timepiece, with the famous Casio’s resilience. These feminine versions have similar advanced features of the model that they are based on, but are a bit smaller. The stainless steel cases of these models are round, with 41 millimeters in diameter and they are 14.4 millimeters thick. For optimal legibility, these watches also include an electro luminescent backlight with afterglow.
Like all Casio watches, these timepieces from the G-Shock Mini collection have many useful functions. They all have world time (with 29 time zones and 48 cities), four daily alarms and one snooze alarm. Each version also possesses a countdown timer and a 1/100 second stopwatch (with measuring modes for elapsed time, split time and 1st-2nd place times). A full auto calendar, pre-programmed until the year 2099, is also included in this collection of Casio timepieces for women.
Four models from the Casio G-Shock Mini 9600 collection have Japanese quartz chronograph movements. They are powered by a battery that has an approximate life of three years. It is also possible to choose from 12 and 24 hours format.
All these features make this line of Casio watches very functional and durable. The chocolate and pink version of these cool and tough watches is a little bit cheaper and costs $70. Three other versions are available for $79.
Casio watches are not my first choice when I want to buy a good watch. I don’t like watches with digital displays. There are a lot of better brands that Casio.

You cannot find anywhere the watch that looks nice, with a good function and high-quality and reliable mechanism for $79. That is the reason why I love Casio watches. Extra quality for a low price.
