For its latest collaboration with the Hello Kitty brand, Casio opted for a somewhat unexpected theme. The novel watch features a styling where the popular animated character meats the world of graffiti art. The watch stems from the Baby-G collection of shock resistant watches and it is based on the BA-120 series that includes analog-digital models. New Casio Baby-G Hello Kitty timepiece is predominantly white and made with a host of custom decorations. Its price is set at $150.
The novel piece by the Japanese watchmaker is just the latest collaborative piece which is made together with the Hello Kitty brand. This time, the well-known animated feline character is mixed with the graffiti art. It is certainly a rather odd mixture, but Casio has managed to come up with an appropriate explanation for the odd pairing. The Japanese watchmaker sees the connection of two worlds in the fact that Hello Kitty first saw the light of day in the 1970s. In the same time, graffiti art became relevant more than ever before.
There are numerous Hello Kitty inspired motifs on the watch. On its dial, one can notice graffiti tags that state the name of the cat, as well as its recognizable red ribbon which sits at the three o’clock position. Further tags of the same kind can be seen on the white resin strap of the watch and all over the exclusive packaging in which the watch arrives. There is also a special engraving on the solid metal case-back of the model with the serial number BA-120KT-7A.

Even though Casio Baby-G Hello Kitty watch has a host of personalized accents on it, is basically no different from the other models from the popular BA-120 series (which succeeded the best-selling BA-110 series). Unlike the other seven models with the same designation which are valued at $120, the Hello Kitty inspired version costs $30 more. However, all of its other traits and functions are exactly the same.
