The marvelous Bulova Precisionist Tanglewood for women is one of captivating collections Bulova presented at this year’s Baselword Watch Show. It is sold under the brand Bulova Precisionist, which means that this astonishing wristwatch is a member of series of the world’s most accurate watches with a continuously sweeping second hand.

Bulova Precisionist Tanglewood
There are two critical factors that determine the precision of a quartz watch: temperature changes and vibration frequency. American watchmaker Bulova developed the Precisionist with features that address both factors. By adding a third prong to the quartz crystal movement and increasing the vibrations frequency, Bulova has hit two birds with one stone.
Additional prong and frequency that is eight times higher than usual enable the Precisionist to be unaffected with temperature shifts and to also be superbly precise. The Bulova Precisionist has a frequency of 262.144 kHz, the highest among all watches that are available today. Such substantial increase diminishes the negative effect of temperature fluctuations and insures marvelous punctuality.
It is usual for quartz wristwatches to be precise within 15 seconds a month. Unlike the most other available timepieces, the Bulova Precisionist is precise within 10 seconds a year.
Captivating Design That Matches Technical Features
The beautiful timepiece from the Bulova Precisionist Tanglewood collection (just like all watches under the brand Bulova Precisionist) includes a second hand that beats 16 times every second. This is not only much better than normal quartz timepieces that beat only once per second, but it even exceeds the fluidity of all mechanical wristwatches, whose second hands beat eight to ten times per second.
The Bulova Precisionist Tanglewood has all these technical abilities, and also features brilliant harmonious design. It is decorated with 36 hand-set diamonds. The glistering elegant watch with the designation 98R141 has a case (30.9 mm wide and 9.2 mm thick) and a bracelet made of two-tone stainless steel with rose gold ion-plated accents.

The fascinating five-part two-tone dial, which is in white mother of pearl and pink silver, is protected with mineral crystal with metalized rim. The alluring two-tone Bulova Precisionist Tanglewood also includes a water resistance of 30 meters and a date display at six o’clock. This astonishing watch for women costs $1000.
There are also three more models from the Precisionist collection with the same technical features, but with a lower price. The model 96R140 has a stainless steel case, white mother of pearl with silver-grey dial, a black satin strap and a price of $850.
Almost the same features are included in the model 96R141, which has different bracelet (stainless steel) and costs $50 more. The final member of the Bulova Precisionist Tanglewood collection is the model 98R140 with a stainless steel case with rose gold finish; brown mother of pearl, rose gold and brown dial; a brown satin strap and a price of $900.
This is by far the prettiest and classiest watch I have bought. It really lifts my spirits when I wear it, and people around me admire it all the time. Plus it’s a Precisionist, so it’s not just looks. I especially adore its sweeping second hand and the continuous manner in which it moves. Just lovely, I recommend this watch to all the ladies!
I agree with Beth, it really looks classy and it’s also not too expensive. My choice is the brown model, cos it is the best match with the clothes i wear. though, i wouldn’t mind getting another version as a present
