Boldly designed, the glistering Bulova Crystal Men’s Watch 98C103 turns every outfit into a courageous fashion statement. This sparkly wristwatch for gentlemen from the Bulova Crystal collection includes no less than 178 individually hand-set shiny Swarovski crystals: 94 on the stainless steel case, 48 more on its textured dial, and 36 on the bracelet that is constructed of stainless steel, just like the case (both case and bracelet have black ion-plated accents).

Bulova Crystal Men's 98C103 Watch frontQuite capable of attracting both light and envious gazes in any situation, this shiny timepiece from Bulova features an original design that makes this wristwatch incredibly unique.  The enchanting sparkly web-textured silver-white dial of this Bulova Crystal Watch features three sub dials.

A sub dial at the three o’clock displays time in 24-hour format (military time), whereas the identical sub dial at the twelve o’clock displays day of the month. Another great feature is a neat retrograde display for days of the week, which is situated between the six and three o’clock.

The captivating face of the watch also includes even tail hour and minute hands with white luminous fill, as well as the bar shaped black hour markers. Its alluring glitzy dial is securely shielded with domed mineral crystal that is metalized on its edges for additional security.

Glossy Elegance

The case of the vivacious Bulova is by no means petite: it is 43 mm wide and 11.4 mm thick. This timepiece from the Bulova Crystal line of products also possesses stationary bezel made of black-tone stainless steel. White Arabic numerals on the bezel mark each even number, while the crystals mark the odds. The combination of numerals and crystals is another distinctive characteristic that separates this watch from all other timepieces.

Bulova Crystal Men's 98C103 Watch backThis multifunctional Bulova is also constructed to be water resistant up to 30 meters. Inside its glossy case, there is a Japanese quartz movement, which powers the wristwatch and insures accuracy. The watch’s silver bracelet with black accents fastens with a deployment buckle. This glistering Bulova watch with unique bold design is available for just $220.

now, that’s a flashy watch. It has all those crystals, but it still looks classy. i really think that they’ve managed to make it really tasteful. even though it’s suppose to be men’s watch, it’s also suitable for women. (i think it actually suits women’s wrist better). nice combo of colors plus an adorable day-of-the-week retrograde indicator.

On the one hand, this watch has some good characteristics, like the price, good looks, a nice movement and a very interesting and unusual dial. On the other hand, it has some, in my opinion, very bad features, like low water resistance. Also, it doesn`t have a chronograph and there is only one model of this watch. It would be nice to see this watch with a rubber or leather strap.

Alexander, you are absolutely right! A true watch for male population is something completely different from this. And like you said, there are two forms of men’s watches, a sport version or an elegant version. Diamonds and crystals are for ladies. Men just ask from the watch to give us an extra dose of confidence. This watch can`t do that and because of it, we can feel that we are something else. With this Bulova, I can`t feel like a man.

O my God! This is so strange :) The Glittering Bold Timepiece – Bulova Crystal looks more like a women´s watch. The bracelet is full of details, but the dial is so desperate. I still love Bulova brand, but anyone can make a mistake. People make mistakes, but this model looks devastating.

  5. Daniel June 27, 2012

I love Bulova´s innovations, but this is too much. 178 Swarovski crystals are absolutely too many for a men’s watch. I do not want to be misunderstood. I love crystals, but I think that at least 10 tastefully designed models can be made from this material. In fact, this is too many crystals even for a women’s watch.

I am not a fan of shiny jewelry. It seems like gay style. It is true that Bulova often has unusual and beautiful refreshments, but I did not expect it from this brand. I literally do not see anything good on this model, but it is possible that someone likes this unusual design.
