Coming from the Stratford range of products by Bulova, Tonneau Chronograph timekeeper is an elegant and business-like men’s quartz watch that can be bought at a reasonable price. It is designed to be inconspicuous and is made with dials in dark colors. The decorations on this chronograph are very subtle, and are restricted to the face of the timekeeper that includes different shades of the same color. Another trait that contributes to the originality of the Bulova Accutron product is a less common tonneau shape of its middle sized case.

Bulova Accutron Stratford Chronograph Tonneau timepiece is, just as its name suggests, fitted into a barrel shaped housing that measures to 45 mm in height, 37 mm in width, and 12. 5 mm in thickness. The material used for the case is highly polished steel, while the back of the case is safely attached with four screws. Its construction allows it to be resistant to water pressure to 50 mm. Another nice characteristic is its curved sapphire glass. The face of the watch is made in two shades of the same color and includes applied hour markers that match the color of the case.

As it has been said, the watch has a quartz chronograph movement which is punctual to 1/10th of a second, and includes a split time function. Besides, the watch also has a date display located at the four o’clock position. It is interesting to note that the hand on 1/10th of a second subsidiary counter does not revolve as the stop watch is activated, but instead, it skips to the right position when the chrono function is stopped.
All Brown and Black with Silver Versions
There are two versions of this model from Bulova Accutron’s Stratford Collection. The first one of these with the reference number 63B142 has a silver colored case, which is supplemented with a black and charcoal grey dial and silver colored hands and hour markers. The wristlet of choice is a black genuine leather strap with contrasting stitching. The other slightly more notable version 64B112 has a case with gold electroplated finish in red gold color which is also used for the details on the dial. The face of the watch itself is made in shiny dark and light brown colors. The same color is featured for its leather strap. In both cases, leather attachments fasten with butterfly-style hidden deployment clasps with center openings, as well as spring releases.
I like the model 64B112. The red gold is my favorite material. It fits perfectly with a brown dial and a brown leather strap. It’s truly an amazing watch. The good thing about this watch is its price. I really don’t know how much it costs, but considering that it has an entry level luxury price, its biggest price can be around $1000, which is a great offer.
