The Swiss manufacturer, Baume & Mercier, has released its latest timepiece, the Capeland Worldtimer which honors the brand’s rich past and the company’s passion for exploration. This newcomer will appeal globe-trotters and international businessmen.

Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer Watch Leather Strap
The new Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer features 24 cities chosen to represent the time zones of the world. From Sydney to New York, Beijing or Rio de Janeiro, reading the time has never been so easy.
The watch can be easily set via the crown. To show the local time just choose one of 24 names of the world’s largest cities that correspond to the time zone where you are, and turn the 24-hour ring until the digit representing the current time is facing it. Hands can be simply adjusted via the crown. Besides, the hours and minutes, the new Capeland Worldtimer also offers date information. A date aperture is placed at the 3 o’clock position.

Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer Watch
The watch is available in two versions – the first one crafted from 18-karat red gold and another one made from polished satin-brushed stainless steel. The choice is also between two dial variants – the ashen gray or off-white with a subtle tone-on-tone refinement.
Its pebble-shaped case offers a completely vintage design. The case is large and measures 44mm in diameter. The red gold model is issued under the referent number 10107 and it is teamed with an elegant and comfortable brown alligator leather strap that follows the same tone as its 24-hour ring. The stainless steel version with the referent number 10106 comes with a blue alligator leather strap that also matches the 24-hour ring.

Baume & Mercier Capeland Worldtimer Watch Side
Its case is protected on both sides with sapphire crystals. The watch features a transparent case back. Through the sapphire glass case back you can see the impeccable self-winding mechanical movement at work.
The passion for traveling has been at the heart of Baume & Mercier since its foundation in 1830. Twenty-one years after the company was established, they decided to open the first branch in London. Later, in 1876, a subsidiary was opened in Philadelphia. After that, Baume & Mercier opened numerous stores across the entire British Empires from India to Africa, Australia and New Zealand, Singapore and Burma. Today, Baume & Mercier’s timepieces travel the globe on the wrists of businessmen or world travelers, so the watch tooled with 24-hour ring can be very useful for them.
