The entire Hampton collection is based on a rectangular watch from the Baume &Mercier Museum from the 1940s. These chronograph watches like its predecessor boast rectangular cases crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel. Each of their cases measures 34 mm x 48 mm, and comes with the thickness of 12.8 mm. Further, the gorgeous case is protected with curved sapphire crystals and provides decent water resistance up to 50 meters (165 feet). Still, I do not recommend use during water and under-water activities.

According to official specs, the watch is animated by the time-proven automatic movement which provides the usual functions of hour, minute and second, as well as a date and chronograph functionality. The Swiss-made mechanism will keep your watch ticking no less than 65 hours when fully charged.
Traditionally, on the right side of the case, there is a screw-down crown and two button-shaped chronograph push-pieces. The crown tip is encrusted with the Baume and Mercier Phi Logo.

Its dial is protected with an anti-reflective sapphire glass window. The Hampton chronograph with the referent number 10029 has a sun satin-finished silver-colored and opaline silver-colored dial surface with rose goldtoned hands and Arabic numerals, whereas the variant with the reference 10030 boasts a sun satin-finished anthracite and opaline black dial with silver hands and numerals.

For the chronograph function, each of these two models uses a large central seconds hand and a 30 minute counter located at the 9 o’clock position. A date window is displayed at the 6 o’clock position, while a small seconds sub-dial is situated at the 3 o’clock position.

Depending on a model, the square case is smoothly connected either to a black or a brown alligator leather strap, leaving no free space between them. Whichever color of the strap you will choose, you can be sure that your watch will stay on your wrist, because it is secured with an adjustable triple folding buckle crafted from stainless steel.
These Hampton watches can be purchased for the retail price of $4,700 each, but with discounts, you can find them for several hundred dollars less.
