Even though the next edition of Baselword is still pretty far away, there is already some information about the upcoming models that will be shown there. Among them there is a new version of Breguet Tradition Dame 7038 with a rose gold housing and a white mother-of-pearl sub-dial on its skeletonized face. The new addition to the palette of products of the renowned watchmaker is made with a diamond encrusted bezel, while its functioning is based on a reliable in-house automatic movement.
The first ever ladies’ model from the Tradition series, Dame 7038 is a piece that combines feminine style and technical superiority. It is distinguished with a face with visible mechanical components of the movement which are in the spotlight. In the center of the dial, one can notice a barrel which is visually enhanced with an engraved rosette motif. Additionally, the rosette shaped barrel is surrounded with the main gear trains of the movement, as well as their assorted bridges. All of them are rhodium-plated for an additional aesthetic appeal.
As for the indications that are featured on the dial, they are made in accordance with the band’s recognizable styling. The off-centered sub-dial on the top that partially covers the rosette motif is made with the well-known Breguet type of hands in gold and Arabic numerals. It is made from genuine white mother-of-pearl which is embellished with a guilloche Clou de Paris pattern. There is also a discrete retrograde seconds display at the top left section of the face of Breguet Tradition Dame 7038.
The ladies’ watch from the Tradition collection is placed inside a round 18 K rose gold housing. It is 37 mm wide, 11.85 thick and it is waterproof to 30 meters. It has sapphire crystals on both its sides. The one on the front is surrounded with a bezel encrusted with 68 brilliant-cut diamonds whose total weight amounts to 0.895 ct. The case features a ribbed side and a serrated crown set with a single ruby.
The functioning of the piece is based on in-house Caliber 505SR. It is a self-winding mechanical movement with an inverted in-line lever escapement. It runs on the frequency of 3 Hz and includes palettes and a balance-spring made of silicon. It is adjusted in six positions and safeguarded with Para-Chute anti-shock system. The automatic movement which possesses the power reserve of 50 hours is wound with a rotor with the same rosette motif that can be seen on the front.
For the wristlet, the watchmaker selected a white colored alligator leather strap that locks with a pin buckle. The newcomer which will be premiered at the next edition of the Baselworld exhibition will follow the first version of Breguet Tradition Dame 7038 which was seen earlier this year. That model is made with a white gold housing and a Tahitian m-o-p dial. It is expected that the newcomer will have the same price as the first variant which is still available for a bit under $40,000.
