Here we have something quite unusual from Tissot. The new T-Complication Squelette Watch reflects the remarkable horological expertise of the Swiss manufacturer through a fascinating 3D experience, and for this 3D experience you do not need any special eyewear.
Tissot T-Complication Squelette demonstrates five “spokes” under the sapphire crystal providing a plunging view of the hand-wound mechanical skeleton movement with very little left to the imagination.
The dial shows elegant touches of dark blue steel skeleton hands and outlines of the hour markers echoing the dark blue screws in the movement. Thus, it transforms the time display into a true visual delight.
The watch that celebrates the beauty of visualizing the passage of time Tissot gave a great attention to details, which is evident everywhere. Even the small seconds counter which is located at the 9 o’clock position has been engraved, thus providing the absolute dial transparency.
The slanting grooves around the winding-crown, the glistening jewels and the lugs show that no detail is too small to be noticed by either the watchmaker or the wearer.
Tissot T-Complication Squelette Watch is housed in a round case crafted from 316L stainless steel and shielded with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with double antireflective coating. The water resistance of the case is assured down to 50 meters (about 165 feet).
A classical, crocodile pattern, black leather strap is signed off with a stainless steel folding clasp integrating two push-buttons.
The new Tissot watch is a perfect timepiece for all watch aficionados who appreciate originality and who also like to see the inner beauty of the Swiss made hand-winding mechanical movement.
The T-Complication Squelette was officially presented at Baselworld 2013 together with other Tissot’s novelties, such as Tissot Luxury Automatic watch that houses the new revolutionary Powermatic 80 automatic movement, the jubilee Tissot Heritage Navigator that celebrates the 160th Anniversary of the brand, the eye-catching Couturier Small Second with an asymmetric dial, as well as several limited edition models dedicated to Tissot’s sports ambassadors.
