After Gianni Versace’s untimely death in 1997, his sister Donatella began a skillful effort to take the company into the 21st century, immediately creating a fabulous line of Versace watches and jewelry. Ever since, Versace timepieces receive rave reviews for their stylistic innovation and technical complexity. This year, at the leading event for the watch and jewelry industry, Baselworld 2012, the company will launch an entire new line of watches.

Versace Mystuque Hibiscus WatchThe new Versace Mystique collection comprises watches in several sizes which are attractively shaped and flawlessly crafted.Today I will present to you the new Mystique Hibiscus line.

This line features six different models, including the exceptional version with a bezel set with 56 brilliant-cut diamonds (weighting 0.44 karats). All Mystique Hibiscus timepieces are housed in stainless steel cases with diameters of 38 mm. Each of them boasts a gorgeous dial decorated with a Hibiscus flower and palm leaves, outlined in gold or silver. As you can see on the image below, this year’s Versace model is very feminine and stylish.

The Mystique collection also comprises the following lines: the Mystique Flora, the Mystique Small, the Mystique Small Precious and the Mystique Chrono line.

The Mystique Flora line recalls the décor of the autumn-winter 2012 fashion shows with stylized climbing tulips in yellow and turquoise. The Mystique Small line features four different models either with black or white dials with a guilloché pattern. These watches, as the name suggest, are housed in smaller 26 mm stainless steel cases. The smaller case size has also been used for diamond-set models in the Mystique Small Precious line. This luxury line comprises three different models. There is also the Mystique Chrono line intended to gentlemen. There is a choice among five different models, including the all-black version. Each of them is housed in a stainless steel case with the diameter of 43.5 mm. The large-sized case features a black IP bezel with tachymeter scale. This masculine wristwatch is attached to the wearer’s wrist with an elegant leather strap with a carbon-fibre pattern.

All Mystique timepieces are equipped with Swiss-made quartz movements. They are manufactured by Vertime, a company of the Timex Group.

There are less than two weeks left until the Versace will present all this glamorous timepieces.
