At Baselworld 2012, which is going to be held in March 2012, Carl F. Bucherer will unveil a new member of the Patravi family – the Patravi Daydate, and renewed and redesigned Patravi TravelTec FourX.
This year’s novelty, the Patravi Daydate Watch, is housed in an elegant classic styled case crafted from stainless steel. The round masculine case measures 42.6 mm in diameter and 12 mm in thickness. The front side of the case is shielded with a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal and the sapphire glass also serves as a transparent case back. Traditionally, at the 3 o’clock position, there is a screw down crown with side protection, both made from steel. The case is constructed to resist water pressure up to 50 meters (165 feet).

A silvered day and date apertures, as well as a small seconds counter continue the tasteful lines of the case and perfectly complete the black and silver color scheme of the watch.
An unusually large date window is situated at the 11 o’clock position, a right day of the week is available through a rectangular aperture located at the 9 o’clock position, whilst a small hacking seconds counter is placed at the 6 o’clock position.

Housed in a large case is in-house developed, designed and manufactured Caliber RD 821 mechanical movement with full 48 hours of power reserve. The mechanism is officially certified by COSC as a chronometer. The 39 jewels movement provides the traditional functions of hour, minute and small seconds, as well as a chronograph function and whole three time zones. A local time zone is indicated with the usual hours and minutes hands, whereas a couple of secondary time zones are indicated with thinner hands.
The case incorporates a fixed scratch-resistant bezel made of new high-tech black ceramics. On the bezel flange, there is imprinted 24-hour movable scale on which changes occur in any direction with each push of the button set at the 10 o’clock position.
This beautiful timepiece is appropriate for both frequent flyers and for those who communicate with people all over the world.

The case is protected on both sides by double-sided antiglare sapphire crystals and allows 50 meters (165 feet) of water resistance.
The skeletonized dial of the new Patravi TravelTec FourX watch permits a free view of the nicely decorated automatic movement. The dial features applied hour indices and hour and minute hands, coated with white fluorescent substance. The small seconds counter is located at the 3 o’clock position, while two chronograph sub-dials for measuring 12 hours and 30 minutes are situated at 6 and 9 o’clock positions. The right date is available through a little red window set between 4 and 5 o’clock positions.
The watch is secured to the wearer’s wrist with an extremely comfortable black rubber strap, terminating either in 18-karat rose gold or titanium folding clasp.
