If you are looking for an affordable Swiss mechanical timepiece with serious diving features, Doxa could be one of the best choices. Keeping the incredible water-resistance up to 1200 meters (about 4000 feet), a new Doxa SUB 4000T Professional watch comes equipped with a sapphire crystal bezel. This interesting sport watch in bold orange or black dial’s colors will be officially presented at the Baselworld 2012 watch and jewelry show.

Doxa SUB 4000T Professional Diving WatchIt is not just the superb water-resistance that makes the new Doxa SUB 4000T Professional be a great diving watch. There is a number of other features, such as a unidirectional bezel, a helium valve and a readable dial with liniment markers, which make the watch amazingly functional and easy-to-use in delicate situations.

Doxa SUB 4000T Professional Diving WatchA robust case with the diameter of 46 mm is made of nicely polished and satin-finished stainless steel. It incorporates a sapphire crystal bezel, in a black-orange color combination which features a minute scale for precise counting of elapsed time. First 15 minutes of the scale is smartly painted in orange, contrasting black indices, while the rest of the bezel is black with orange indices. For the version with the black dial, indices are painted in luminescent white. Both versions are available with stainless steel bracelets that incorporate folding clasps and diving-suit extension systems.

Doxa SUB 4000T Professional Diving WatchNew Doxa watches are highly readable, thanks to characteristic white luminescent markers and hands. The date window is located at the 3 o’clock position, while the power reserve indicator takes the 7 o’clock position. This simple design without unnecessary elements put functionality on the first place, but does not leave the watch without aesthetic qualities. Thus, this modern sport piece can nicely fit with a casual every-day outfit.

Inside the watch, there is a quality self-winding movement that provides 42 hours of power-reserve. New Doxa SUB 4000T Professional Diving watch is protected with a scratch-proof and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Engraved and numbered case back (the series is limited to 200 pieces) is screw-down to increase durability.
